The Detroit Central High School Alumni Organization proudly congratulates Ja’Kaiah Daniels,
recipient of the 2026 DCHSAO Trailblazer Legacy Scholarship, presented during
Detroit Central High School’s Decision Day Celebration.
As part of the organization’s Centennial celebration honoring
100 years on Tuxedo, DCHSAO
also announced that every graduating senior from the historic
Class of 2026 will have their name placed on the
Alumni Wall, recognizing the school’s 100th graduating class.
Students additionally received commemorative Centennial ink
pens generously gifted by We The People of Detroit Organization.
The Detroit Central High School Alumni Organization is proud to

the rich legacy of Detroit Central High School.

Scholarship Awards
Trailblazer Legacy Scholarship Award
Award Amount: ($500-$1,000)
Awarded to graduating seniors in honor of distinguished Detroit Central High School alumni that exemplify admirable character, made significant contribution(s) in career, service,
or humanitarian work, (3) and/or positively impacted
our local community or society in general.
Trailblazer Athletic Scholarship Award
Award Amount: ($500-$1,000)
Awarded to graduating seniors in honor of the dedicated Detroit Central High School coaches and athletic staff that mentor and develop student athletes, helping them to refine their skills, boost to their confidence, to achieve and nurture the best in themselves.
