Scholarship Awards
Trailblazer Legacy Scholarship Award
Award Amount: ($500-$1,000)
Awarded to graduating seniors in honor of distinguished Detroit Central High School alumni that exemplify admirable character, made significant contribution(s) in career, service,
or humanitarian work, (3) and/or positively impacted
our local community or society in general.
Trailblazer Athletic Scholarship Award
Award Amount: ($500-$1,000)
Awarded to graduating seniors in honor of the dedicated Detroit Central High School coaches and athletic staff that mentor and develop student athletes, helping them to refine their skills, boost to their confidence, to achieve and nurture the best in themselves.
2026 Applications
How To Apply
DCHSAO Scholarship applications for the Class of 2026 are now OPEN.
All applicants must complete and submit the official online scholarship application form, including all required uploads, by the stated deadline.
Completed applications must be submitted through the online application form only.
Paper applications, emailed submissions, or mailed documents will NOT be accepted.
Application Deadline
The application deadline is Monday, March 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EST.
⚠️ Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Scholarship Award Announcements
All applicants will be notified of their application status in May 2026.
- Scholarship awards may be issued via cashier’s check or other approved method.
- Funds may be used for education-related and essential living expenses, including tuition, books, housing, food, and related needs.
- Award distribution details will be provided at the time of notification.
